When rating burgers you have to take the category of the restaurant into account. It would be incorrect to judge a fast food burger in the same category as a sit-down restaurant burger.
All reviews will include their source, if I was to order and have the food delivered I will still rate it against it’s original source.
Fast food
Fast Food burgers are burgers served quickly from a restaurant that also offers drive-through service. The drive-through is key, otherwise, the burger is fast casual.
Fast Casual
Fast Casual burgers are burgers served from a restaurant that is served quickly and ordered from a counter/window. Without a drive-through.
Food truck
These are similar to fast food burgers and fast-casual burgers, they are burgers that are cooked quickly but served from a truck/stand. Due to the cooking environment and lack of a full kitchen, these are their own separate category of burger.
Sit down restaurant
Sit-down burgers are burgers served at a traditional sit-down restaurant. You order from a waiter and traditionally eat on-site.
Luxury
Any burger that costs more than £25. These are the cream of the crop and will always have the highest expectations. It would be unfair to compare these to your standard burgers.
